Shakira recently took the time to chat with some of her fans on the El Heraldo website in Colombia.  Shaki revealed she will be starting work on her next studio album next February, but doesn’t know which direction she will go with the new material.

Shaki also talked about her “Latin Live Aid” concerts that will be staged simultaneously in Brazil, Spain, Argentina and the USA.

• Hi everyone, i am really happy to chat live with you. responding to Amorvital: I know the song it’s being actually played in radio stations, it’s one of the songs I wrote and Produced for the movie “Love in the time of cholera”, the name of the song I am talking about is “Hay Amores”, and it is a Bolero that means a lot to me.
• Hi Dan Medina, Brasil is a country which I know very well north to south, I am a big admirer of the Brasilian music, also of its traditions, and your language. I am sure I will be back in Brasil with my next album which I will start working on february 2008. a kiss for you.
• Hi SuperShakiro, it is very early to predict the content of my new album since I have not even started to work on it yet.Right now I am in front of a piece of white paper and it is going to be fun to start playing with the first colors of what will be my next creation this coming february.
• Hi Mona, I do not have the exact Date of when the video is coming out, but it will be soon. Right now we are working on editing.
• Hi Carlossv, “Hips dont lie” is actually one of then songs in which you can feel my cultural inheritance, I grew up beeing nursed by the Cumbia, Vallenato,porros, like any other Costeña, and that is why I decided to fusion La tambora and the rhythm of the cumbia in this song which is also a tribute to my Barranquilla of my soul.
• Hi Amanda2312, I would love to be in the Carnaval de Barranquilla, I promise Antonio every year that I am going to take him to the carnaval so that he can live the best experience of his life.
• Daniela Mercury,is one of the Brasilian artist who I have a lot of respect for, She has invited me to Brazil before, but I just have not had the time.
• Hola Naty de España,during my tour i met a lot of Barranquilleros bringing me love and reminding me of my Arenosa.
• Hola, Ariel, ja, ja, How embarrassing about the nails, I still have the hands of a 10 year old and do manicure once a year. I must confess that my formula to keep the calm in the middle of the Voragine is the Good company,my other half, family, love ones, and friends.
• Hi Herballes, The Alas concerts is going to be a historical event because for the first time we are going to see a LatinoAmerica moving on its own and for itself. Many artists have been confirmed to participate next year in the shows that will take place in the middle of 2008 and which is going to be an unforgettable event.
• Hi Costeño Lindo, I don’t know, sometimes I want to go back to my dark hair, but sometimes I want to have it red or purple. There are so many colors I would like to experiment with, that sometimes I just give up and do nothing.
• Hi beto,in a year we will have the school working for approximately 2000 students in one of the areas with most of displaced people in Colombia. Besides of being a school, it will also be a center for the community of la playa, for the children and families of this area. I am really excited to see soon the fruits of this work.
